Iron Powder

  • Iron is a chemical element with symbol Fe, atomic number 26, and possesses a lustrous, grayish metallic appearance. Iron is the fourth most common element found in the Earth's crust but it is rarely found as a free element since it oxidizes easily. It is usually found in minerals such as magnetite, hematite, goethite, limonite, and siderite. It is a metal that is used in producing magnetic alloys, certain types of steels, and automobile parts.
