Cobalt Oxide

Cobalt Oxide or Cobalt Monoxide is an inorganic compound with the chemical compound CoO. It can be prepared by decomposing cobalt(II,III) oxide at 950 deg C., electrolyzing a solution of cobalt(II) chloride, or by precipitating cobalt hydroxide followed by thermal dehydration.
